Wellbeing Playground

Together we grow.

For World Mental Health Day, we wanted to talk about wellbeing in a way that felt authentic, and back it up with real data. The idea was simple: a little bit of play is good for us, and even better when we do it together.

We transformed lululemon’s New York flagship into a larger-than-life Wellbeing Playground, complete with a giant adult slide from the second floor. The store became a place built for movement, connection and play, turning wellbeing into something people could actually participate in and giving the brand a more joyful, human way to bring its purpose to life.

Come out and play.

Throughout the experience, playful interactions were paired with research from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, connecting what guests were doing with the very real benefits of movement and play: greater resilience, better mood and stress management, and the positive impact of moving with others.

The data became part of the experience itself, giving more meaning to every slide, game and moment of connection — and reminding us that something as simple as playing 5 minutes a day can impact our mental health.
